These are some of the drawings I've been doing in character design. The aim is to take the pose and push the shapes to give it more character. You might recognize Tarzan in some of the drawings. They are all 5 minute drawings on smooth newsprint.
I like the barbarian on the skateboard. It's a re imagining of being a barbarian. Imagine if all characters were reduced to their style on a skateboard. Imagine mad max reduced to using human powered vehicles. How intimidating could they possibly be?
